My life and this blog…

Paul Dillon Amiradaki
07 June 1986

In 1988 at the age of 2.5 years I was diagnosed with a kidney tumor. After failing several operations and treatments it was decided the best option was to remove the left kidney and undergo chemotherapy for 6 months. After a heavy operation and intense treatment I was cured of cancer for good. In return for life (due to chemotherapy) I lost my hearing in 1989 and developed cardiac complications in 1999. I will never forget the day I was sitting in the office, staring strait into the eyes of the doctor, clinging onto hope for life, waiting to hear weather I would live or die… A moment later words were spoken “Paul, you have just under two years to live…” For the next two years I battled through life striving to do everything I could to stay alive but everything was downhill. Between 1999 and 2001 I suffered from Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and several times Pneumonia. Finally a special day came on 01 October 2001 in the early hours of the morning. I received a phone call to say a NEW HEART has arrived. A few long hours later I was lying on the hospital bed with…

a new heart
a new life
a new beginning

My new heart is passionate in helping people to live the best life they can by offering them everything I have to offer… I will run a marathon, fly around the world, spend my nights researching, never sleeping, never resting to do what I have to do to help bring an individual to a healthy lifestyle.

It is the reason I am at university today studying to become the best fitness instructor, the best cardiac rehab specialist, the best dietitian i can be. It is the reason I have started this blog.

This blog will be your ultimate guide to providing you with information and advice about health and fitness or anything related

    Paulie…
What a testimony you have!! So incredibly moved by this… While I was reading I cant begin to tell you the array of emotions that came over me. Sadness, anger, joy, peace, happiness… and so many more. God has destined you for greatness and can see you settling for nothing less!! You are such an inspiration and going to impact so so many lives…
    Psalm 27: 3-5
“Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will know no fear. Even if they attack me, I remain confident. The one thing I ask of the Lord- the thing I seek most is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; He will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock”.

Love you so much Paulie x x
